While the Prissy Princess is gearing up for holiday festivities, including sending the Gallant Hero to see his family while she ventures off to see hers, she may not have much time to spend in thinking up funny things to write. In the meantime, please take some time to fill out the reader poll in the left column! As always, your answers will be scientifically analyzed and the results reported in a future post. We regret that prizes cannot be awarded; that would not be very scientific.
We hope you enjoy the holiday; if you do not have a holiday this weekend, I'm sure you'll have one coming up soon. Every day is a holiday somewhere in the world.

Sending the Gallant Hero off by himself to see his family and friends could be dangerous. Gallant as he is, he is also impressionable and could easily be swayed to embrace ideas that the Prissy Princess would not approve of.
You speak truth, Squire #3. And might you possibly be one of those who seek to lead my Hero astray??
Such an accusation is not becoming of one so indebted to others. I call to your memory the great sacrifices made by the Gallant Hero's squires to ensure that he was at the proper place and the proper time for the marriage ceremony, no small feat as I am sure you understand. Not to mention making sure he had his tuxedo buttoned properly! The horrors of an improperly buttoned, or, shall we say, unbuttoned coat would no doubt have caused no small stir among the wedding guests. However, you may rest easy knowing that we are of forgiving natures and will harbor no hard feelings. We also trust that you will be relieved to know that no chickens died as a result of the Hero's weekend visit.
Your "gallant hero" is not as impressionable as you might think, nor is he easily swayed; not even for a yummy cinnamon roll.
Oh - I'll negotiate for cinnamon rolls
Yes, yes, Squire, I do owe you much gratitude for taking care of the Hero on that most important of days. By the way, did you ever receive your payment for that? (Just kidding, Hero!)
